We could see another wave coming to us. We had one more event coming to us and once again we would get an opportunity to showcase our learning. Yes, it was Whakanui, culture day where we had to showcase the royal weddings for America, India, Europe, Bhutan, Oceania, Middle East and Africa. We were divided into teams and each of the team had been given a continent\/country of which they had to create various text types to portray the royal wedding. Some text types used were wedding cards, menu, social media posts, invitations as well as congratulatory cards. I was assigned to the Europe continent.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0aptitude<\/span>\u00a0of\u00a0composing<\/span>\u00a0a\u00a0modern<\/span>\u00a0content<\/span>\u00a0sort<\/span>\u00a0was\u00a0created<\/span>\u00a0within the<\/span>\u00a0handle<\/span>. I had\u00a0composed<\/span>\u00a0articles and\u00a0expositions<\/span>\u00a0sometime recently<\/span>\u00a0but never\u00a0made<\/span>\u00a0a wedding card\u00a0prior<\/span>. It was a\u00a0modern<\/span>\u00a0encounter<\/span>\u00a0because it<\/span> wasn\u2019t an ordinary<\/span>\u00a0wedding card but a one where\u00a0welcomes<\/span>\u00a0had to be sent to other\u00a0royal<\/span>\u00a0families. I overcame this challenge by taking\u00a0offer assistance<\/span>\u00a0from my\u00a0educator<\/span>\u00a0and looking at similar\u00a0content<\/span>\u00a0sorts<\/span>. I feel\u00a0great<\/span>\u00a0I\u00a0need to<\/span>\u00a0learn something\u00a0modern<\/span>\u00a0and I\u00a0found<\/span>\u00a0I\u00a0really<\/span>\u00a0like\u00a0composing<\/span>.\u00a0Hence<\/span>\u00a0I can conclude it is\u00a0imperative<\/span>\u00a0to require<\/span>\u00a0challenges\u00a0to memorize<\/span>\u00a0more\u00a0almost<\/span>\u00a0oneself.<\/div>\n

L5. Demonstrate the skills and benefits of working collaboratively<\/strong><\/div>\n

To make this event successful it was vital to work in a team, be open-minded, listen and understand team member’s opinions. Effective communication skills within the team were very important so the whole team is aware of the progress made by each team member. Working as a team also made the completion of tasks faster as the work was divided according to team member\u2019s preference and their skills. The work was also of high quality as the skills of team members were combined.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

L4. Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience<\/strong><\/div>\n

We had various events and deadlines lining up during the time of the event. So, everyone had to be committed towards the completion of the task, helping others, being present on the day, regardless of other deadlines. This even kept me motivated and made the event a success.<\/span><\/div>\n
