Description:<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nI have been an explorer and adventurer all my life. I enjoy the thrill in the activities that I do and I hope I never stop going to such adventures. This CAS experience is about my trek which I do when I travel. In Diwali, I visited Rishikesh where I Trekked to Neelkanth Mahadev and when we went to Mt. Abu from a school trip we trekked on to a few mountains.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

LO 1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/h5>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nDuring this activity, I came to understand that my strength is to not give up. Treks are long and tiring, but once you go to more than 3 treks you get to how to save your energy and trek for a longer time. I realized that with time I was getting better at trekking. It is important in trekking to know your strengths and weakness are so that you are more efficient and you conserve energy. I used to quit in half part of the trek and get really tired. I used to drink a lot of water before the trek and in between which used to make me feel heavy and my head hurt a little. I understood that it isn\u2019t the correct way to start the trek.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
LO 2: Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process<\/h5>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhen I first started to trek I was not good at it. The challenge for me in this activity was to compete with the length of the trek as in terms of time and distance. I first trekked in Rishikesh where I quit really soon after starting the trek. I knew that it will not work out for me if it stayed the same way, so I decided to change things up and ask my uncle Sanjay to help me with my trek adventures. He has been to more than ten treks and helped me a lot by giving me some tips. Tips like drinking water at regular intervals but in small to medium quantities.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
LO 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/h5>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nAfter I got to learn some basic tips from my uncle I went to some more treks in Rishikesh, Mt. Abu, Cape Town, and Bhutan. That’s showing my perseverance and commitment. Wherever I go to someplace where there is an opportunity for a trek I take the challenge on and go for the trek.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Final take away:<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThis activity has led me to meet a lot of new people and a lot of new places. This activity is one of those activities which helps me stay in good shape and helps me take care of my body. I have always loved the adventure in this and the challenge. So I hope I never quit going on treks and meeting new people and places.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
