Much the same as Arts or school offers a variety of extracurricular activities like Ultimate Frisbee, football, volleyball, basketball, athletics, and table tennis. These activities keep us associated with sports. I have chosen Ultimate Frisbee, it is a less known sport played in our school. These arrangements with a 7-7 group scoring to dominate a game. It is a non-contact and no-referee game in India where Spirit ensures players are in agreement and are following the rules.<\/p>\n

LO 1: Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth<\/h5>\n

I’ve been playing Ultimate Frisbee for about 3 years and I’m learning how to play better yet. During this time I’ve come to know I’m a great cutter and a good handler because of my speed. I used to play these two positions only and got pretty good at it, whenever I play at school, at any game, at home or elsewhere I used to play as a cutter and a handler. Eventually, I improved by utilizing my strengths and working on my weaknesses.<\/p>\n

LO 4: Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences<\/h5>\n

In the ultimate frisbee or in any sport, it is very important for a player to show commitment and perseverance on that matter. This is because if you don’t practice enough then you may become worse at it and it will take a bit longer to get used to it again. In my situation, I’ve personally shown perseverance and determination to be playing every alternative day so I don’t go off track. Over the holidays.<\/p>\n

LO 5: Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively<\/h5>\n

Ultimate frisbee is a team sport and being able to work together in a squad is very important. There are several players in a team just 7 people on the side are on the ground. When you are one of them it is beneficial if you have good coordination between your team members. I am a part of a club team named \u00a0“Jumbish” and according to me, I am well gelled in with the team members. We understand each other strengths and weaknesses.<\/p>\n

LO 7: Recognise and consider the ethics of choices and action<\/h5>\n

Playing sports and Playing sports with integrity are two different things. When I am playing in a tournament or during practice I try to follow all the rules of the game and make sure my actions are ethical with others as it is a team sport. Moreover, off-field my choices will also play an important role in my game an example of it is a proper diet plan and exercise.<\/p>\n
