I am interested in knowing about what impact does astrology have on Indias. I am intrigued by this topic as my mom is a tarot card reader and at my house, everyone believes in astrology. We believe in this to such a great extent that our whole house has been built according to the science of architecture (Vastu Shastra).  I have been a little skeptical about it all and wanted to take this opportunity (Extended Essay) to research and find out about the truth. So I am going to look at Astrology and it impacts on citizens of India. My chosen subject is Hindi as I can best explore this topic under culture and society. Since it is a topic that I have been closely linked with and have experience, so my first step would be interviewing my parents and our family astrologer to get primary research. I have always done things but never asked for an explanation or the logic behind it, and I feel it is important to know the logic so you do not follow anything blindly. My knowledge about this topic is very limited there my primary research will help me write and fulfill the criteria of EE. To make my research more valid I have even started reading a book on astrology. My primary research is helping me to get to this topic in depth and get a wider range of perspective. I make sure they are an appropriate and reliable website and data. Since astrology has a lot of activities, I have selected the ones that I have seen and experienced in my life. The concept of Vastu Shastra, Manglik, and horoscope are topics I will be understanding. I might be biased at times as this seems to be a superstition, but since I have recognized this drawback I will try to stay neutral. While conducting my researches I will make sure to morally and respectfully ask questions to my participants. I will take into consideration social ethic while writing the essay as there might be people with different point of views.
