Seva cafe was a fundraising event which was organized in school itself.It was a literature event where we were ,as a team ,required to serve food to the participant and the parents that had come to visit the event.Being a fundraising event we were not required to ask for a payment instead the people could donate the amount they want ,which was then given to school and finally was donated by them.This was to promote literature as well as contribute to the welfare of the society by taking the issue of poverty into consideration. Learning Outcomes achieved:

• Identify own strengths and develop areas of growth.

My strengths were to manage all the things that were happening around like my team-mates and talking to teachers about any concern,which was very much helpful for me to conduct this CAS successfully.I wanted to develop my cooking skills which could turn out to be helpful in my future so I decided to learn from my teammates and develop my skills.so here I was developing my areas of growth which is done using the medium of CAS.

• Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills

It was really challenge for me to develop my cooking skills which was a really tough job but i tried my best, i took responsibilities and make as much possible use of it as possible.It was challenging for me because i havent cooked so much by myself before and was also not aware about a lot of ingridients.By this i will be developing my skills to a great extent.It was the biggest challenge for me to learn rapidly as they were making the food with quick hands so I collaborated with my friends to learn better.I think i was able to learn and improve my skills a lot.I felt really responsible and proud of myself for learning something new and challenging my weaknesess.I think this is why taking challenges are a very important aspect of growing as you get to overcome a lot of things.All these skills may be very usefull for me in future to do things when no one is home also developing my survival skills.

• Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

I am usually an organized type of person so it really helped me to conduct the CAS as i was able to determine various things undertake different activities by managing myself doing everything in a timely manner.Here I also developed my skills of communication by talking to my teammates and discovering new perspectives.I think these skills will help me conduct such CAS easily in future.

• Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively

Working as a part of team is comparatively easy for me as I get to know more information and can adapt to different skills that other possess developing me as a person.The same happened during the planning and working of this activity.I think working like this is very important as u get to know each other and increase your social life by sharing bonds with each other.

• Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

The main ethical issue that was involved in this activity was serving fresh and healthy food to the people and not serving them with unhygienic one which may not be good for their body.This was really challenging as we have to select perfect raw material available.This issue made me feel really responsible and considered yself to be ethical as i am keeping up with the requirements. we also catered to the learner profile of caring by thinking about others and not being selfish.earlier i had the opinion that every one should be given adequete food and not cheated which i also followed in the event as well and even now i have the same opinion and much strongly believe in it. I developed the learner profile of caring and communication as we think about other’s good and I tried my best to connect with each other learn new things about each other developing my personality.I think we were able to achieve success as people were happy eating our food and were able to convince them a good amount of donations ,this showed a good sign of us working as a team.By this we are contributing to the society,catering the issue of poverty.and giving such people a healthy lifestyle.These skills will definitely help me in future to better communicate with people involved in the business.
