I organized a football tournament with my other 2 friends as a part of CAS project to do something for community and improve some of my skills.We gathered information and teams to check the demand then we decided to conduct it for short term period where we gave slot timing to different teams to play and keep a prize money so that many of them are attracted.We took a particular amount of fees from each team playing so that we could arrange prize money and pass other expenditures like rent and donate money to NGOs helping us contributing towards the society. Our goal was to develop our skills and help other public to get off from their schedule and have something interesting in the daily routine.This was purely a fundraising event and no thought of profit was indulged in between.To make it a successful even we delegated work accordingly and took some guidance from out teachers so that we can learn better and have a fitter understanding about the same.

Learning Outcomes achieved:

• LO1 -Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth

I identified my strengths and weaknesses excel in different areas of growth.I used various methods to identify it,like swot analysis and other factors like my interests.By identifying strengths,i used it to help my group mates as they may not have that skills and by identifying weaknesses i worked upin ai and took responsibilities based on it so that i can learn new skills and develop myself as a person.for eg .by my friends assistance i learned to keep self confidence that could also help in future.

• LO2 -Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process

One of the most challenging thing during this project was to communicate information to other teams and managing the logistics department for constructing time-table.This was really challenging because there were a lot of teams so communication became harder and organizing matches with depends upon equal opportunity was also tough to form.To overcome this i took help of elders to form time-table and tried to learn from them to develop new skill.I also delegated different people with set of contacts to make it easier for us to communicate and hold up a successful flow of matches.BY taking up this challenge i feel really responsible the things i hold up as i am really aware of it.It is important to undertake such challenges so that i develop new skills and improve on it.I think this management skills could help me in future by taking up decisions and make up my mind better.Thus i feel taking up challenges is very important and should try best to accomplish it.

• LO3 -Demonstrate how to initiate and plan a CAS experience

As a part of team we organized meeting at various place to get prepare with everything and to assure that there is no obstruction in between.I am not usually an organized person so it became really difficult for me to attend meeting on a regular basis.I think i discover skills of time prioritization ,management and leadership skills very much by generating different ideas and getting it into implementation by make schedule accordingly.Due to this i think it became more easy for me to conduct events on a larger scale and much better for sure as i have developed  some new skills as well as worked upon existing skills.

• LO4 -Show commitment to and perseverance in CAS experiences

We had given deadlines to ourselves for completing tasks and we were committed to it. I had put in my all efforts in this project. There was stage were my partners lost faith as to if the event will be successful, that was somewhere we panicked and tried to market our project more. Later, we did have confidence about our event and that self-confidence made it a success.

• LO5 -Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively

Working with my colleagues or even new people is not generally a task for me. As mentioned earlier, the work was distributed with a win-win situation and we had given deadlines to ourselves which kept us on task. I am an extrovert so working with anyone always fits just right.

• LO6 – Demonstrate engagement with issues of global significance

We took the issue of poverty into consideration.As we decided to donate our profit to the NGO to participate into contribution towards global issue.

This could really help society as this money could be used on education and other activities as well if used perfectly.By doing this it make a feel of satisfaction and proud to be so responsible towards this global issue.

• LO7 -Recognize and consider the ethics of choices and actions

One of the ethics we used during our project was that we give equal opportunity to everyone and keep a schedule in such a way that everyone get a fair chance to play.this was important to be considered which we did so.Ithink thins a good thing to do and should be continued for other tasks as well.

I developed knowledgeable kills by expanding my mindset and learning new skills.I also learned being principled by being confident and showing ethics wherever possible.We also learned to take risks as we didn not know as it would be successful or not.Besides this we identified our fears and tried to nullify tit to a huge extent.This project was also linked to one of my subject,BM where they make us teach various skills which we could use in real life and they teach us how to tackle various circumstances in different scenarios.I think it was a fair success as we were able to take many things from it and get ourselves a feeling on accomplishment.By making a contribution towards society as we donated our money in an NGO,Making us feel really proud and gratified.
