I am learning basketball since I was in 7th grade. At first, it was a random choice, as I was unsure about which sports to choose. From the very beginning, I had to push myself to get outside my comfort zone and to put efforts into playing the game. I was lucky to have a very good basketball coach who saw my strengths and motivated me to play my best game by doing this learning outcome 2 was fulfilled. Basketball is a team game and one’s team members have to be very supportive and understanding for coordination of a team to be achieved. I wasn’t the strongest player in the team, however my team was very supportive, they knew my strengths and weaknesses and whenever we played a game they always made sure to take full advantage of my strengths in the game and support me in areas where they knew I would lack behind and I would do the same for them. Very quickly the team had built a very strong bond. By doing this Learning outcome 5 was achieved as I learned the strength of working collaboratively. As I was a good defender I worked in that area to become better and better by doing this Learning outcome 1 was achieved.
