An event organised by one of my classmates. This event was an initiative to give something back to the support staff to return the amount of hard work that they put in to make our lives at school good. This event required us to make and serve food for them. I was a volunteer at the event and my job was to click pictures and capture all the moments. The learning outcomes achieved are:- Lo2-Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken developing new skills- Although I love photography I have never done photography for an event and hence this was the first time I was doing it. While doing photography there were times when I faced difficulty and I had to give these photos to my friends who were organizing the event so I could not experiment with things. Lo5- Demonstrate the skills and benefits of working collaboratively- Generally I am really mixing and like to get in touch with people. Talking about this particular event it was a little difficult for me to collaborate with my friends because photography is something where I like to experiment and being with my friends I could not experiment. But working with others helped me in learning new skills and techniques that I did not learn earlier. All in all it was a new experience for me and I realized that I really enjoyed doing it and would like to continue doing so. The learner profiles that I could attribute to this activity were as follows: Communicators- Communication plays a key role in achieving something that u want. In the same way, communication played a key role in helping me click good pictures. Knowlegeable- Knowledge takes u ahead in life is what is generally said. And having knowledge in a particular field will help u develop a career in that felid. My knowledge in photography helped me in clicking some shots which were remarkable. I really enjoyed doing photography for the event and there was a lot of learning that too place in the process.
