My name is Vanshika Vakharia, I am 18 years old. Currently, I am in the second year of the IB Diploma. The course IB has holistically developed me with the skills of communication, teamwork, and research. IB’s core components that include CAS, EE and TOK have helped me dive out of the basic horizon of academic learning and has re-defined my concept of knowledge.
I love traveling, it gives me an opportunity to look at things from a different perspective. Traveling enables me to watch and observe different cultures up close, try different cuisines, understand versatility in fashion and take a glimpse of varied forms of art and their interpretations.
I am extremely interested in the subject line Psychology. I believe that communication can act as an extremely strong suit in helping people around realize their strengths and their fullest potential. My aim is to study Psychology and help as many people as possible to live their best lives.
I always try striking a balance between working hard and living one’s life. My mantra is to do something you love with so much passion that you don’t need a holiday as an escape rather as an extension fo your celebration.
The issue I am most passionate about solving is mental health. Individuals from a very young age are very insecure, confused and lost about who they are, what they want to do and whether what and how they are doing is correct or not. I want to help them fight through this stage of their lives so that they do not remain stagnated with their own identity.
Lastly, I am an extremely sensitive person and I feel give back to community is very important. I try providing my services to people in need and the rule that I lace my life with is to give your 100% so as to deserve the bread on your plate.
