We could see another wave coming to us. We had one more event coming to us and once again we would get an opportunity to showcase our learning. Yes, it was Whakanui, culture day where we had to showcase the royal weddings for America, India, Europe, Bhutan, Oceania, Middle East and Africa. We were divided into teams and each of the team had been given a continent/country of which they had to create various text types to portray the royal wedding. Some text types used were wedding cards, menu, social media posts, invitations as well as congratulatory cards. I was assigned to the Europe continent.

L2. Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills
The aptitude of composing a modern content sort was created within the handle. I had composed articles and expositions sometime recently but never made a wedding card prior. It was a modern encounter because it wasn’t an ordinary wedding card but a one where welcomes had to be sent to other royal families. I overcame this challenge by taking offer assistance from my educator and looking at similar content sorts. I feel great I need to learn something modern and I found I really like composing. Hence I can conclude it is imperative to require challenges to memorize more almost oneself.
L5. Demonstrate the skills and benefits of working collaboratively
To make this event successful it was vital to work in a team, be open-minded, listen and understand team member’s opinions. Effective communication skills within the team were very important so the whole team is aware of the progress made by each team member. Working as a team also made the completion of tasks faster as the work was divided according to team member’s preference and their skills. The work was also of high quality as the skills of team members were combined.
L4. Show perseverance and commitment in CAS experience
We had various events and deadlines lining up during the time of the event. So, everyone had to be committed towards the completion of the task, helping others, being present on the day, regardless of other deadlines. This even kept me motivated and made the event a success.
