Hey there, my name is Dhruv Savani I am 17 years old. Currently, I am in the second year of the IB Diploma Programme. Being an IB student I feel like it has helped me grow holistically and I have gained different experiences and developed new skills that will help me in ethical decision making and solving problems through various perspectives in my life as a student ahead and as well as in my professional life. CAS experiences have taught me to give something back to the society in various creative ways and also maintain a balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
I personally love to travel and explore different cultures and meet new people, so that I can get to know about the different lifestyles and how people find new ways to solve the problems arising in their environment. Traveling to different places also enables me to look through the issues which hold global significance, issues like poverty, poor child health, and illiteracy. Getting closer exposure to this issue would allow me to spread awareness and find solutions to it.
I am very passionate about cooking, so I also love to explore and taste different cuisines. So that I can find new dishes and develop different methods of cooking. I also have a hobby of reading books and the genre which interests me is self – help, as these are the books through which I get the motivation to work harder to achieve the desired goals of my future.
After doing CAS I have understood the importance of doing service. And using my own skills in an effective way so that it could help others who need support to grow. And my own knowledge and skills could also be used for the betterment of the environment. I aim to work towards saving the planet to save the beautiful nature we have.
